Cello Academy – Winter, Spring & Summer
19.000 DKK
Covers tuition, full board and accommodation for all three masterclasses.
When applying to the Cello Academy (all three masterclasses) students must pay a deposit of 5.500 DKK by Thursday December 1st 2011.
Then upon arrival to each of the three masterclasses students will be expected to pay an installment of 4.500 DKK.
December 1st 2011: 5.500 DKK (bank transfer)
January 2nd 2012: 4.500 DKK (cash upon arrival)
April 6th 2012: 4.500 DKK (cash upon arrival)
June 29th 2012: 4.500 DKK (cash upon arrival)
Winter Masterclass
8.000 DKK
Covers tuition, full board and accomodation at the Green Hotel in Dalarna, Sweden (www.greenhotel.se)
When applying to the Winter Masterclass students must pay a deposit of 2.500 DKK by Thursday December 1st 2011.
Then upon arrival to Green Hotel students will be expected to remaining 5.500 DKK (in cash).
Spring Masterclass
5.500 DKK
Covers tuition, full board and accommodation at La Loingtaine outside Paris, France (www.laloingtaine.org)
When applying to the Spring Masterclass students must pay a deposit of 2.500 DKK by Monday February 20th 2012.
Then upon arrival to La Loingtaine students will be expected to pay remaining 3.000 DKK (in cash).
Summer Masterclass
8.000 DKK
Covers tuition, full board and accommodation at both Hindsgavl Manor (www.hindsgavl.dk)
and Risskov Youth Hostel (www.aarhus-danhostel.dk)
When applying to the Summer Masterclass students must pay a deposit of 2.500 DKK by Thursday December 1st 2011.
Then upon arrival to Aarhus students will be expected to pay remaining 5.500 DKK (in cash).
OPEN STRINGS CELLO ACADEMY - APPLICATION
This year, there are four application rounds, two for each masterclass.
All students alike are selected on the submission of their demo recordings.
1. To make a valid application you must send an e-mail with a short Curriculum Vitae to info@openstrings.org
Upon sending this e-mail you will receive an invitation to the Open Strings Dropbox.
2. Applicants must upload a short audio or video demo with one or more pieces of about 5 - 10 minutes of duration to the Open Strings Dropbox.
3. Applicants must pay the deposit of 2.500 Dkr. (Danish Kroner) before any application will be considered (see below).
NEW PROCEDURE !!
Students must choose if they want to apply for the entire Academy Programme consisting of the Winter, Spring & Summer Masterclasses or if they want to apply for only one or two of the three masterclasses.
This year, there are three application rounds, one for each masterclass.

All students alike are selected on the submission of their demo recordings.
Important: It is the applicant’s responsibility to pay for the transfer costs when making a bank transfer. This means not only the cost charged by the applicant’s bank but also transfer costs charged by the receiving bank. Remember to notify your bank about this. No other currency than Danish Kroner will be accepted.

The deposit must be paid by bank transfer in Danish Kroner (DKK)
Cheques are not accepted.
